Who We Are
In accordance with the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources created a Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP) in 1993. The goal of the SBEAP is to help small businesses comply with environmental requirements. Georgia's environmental regulations require many small businesses to obtain permits, install pollution control equipment, and maintain required emissions records. A small business is defined as one employing less than 100 employees.
