NATIONAL EMISSIONS STANDARS FOR HAZARDOUS AIR POLLUTANTS (NESHAP) FOR AREA SOURCES For more information on additional upcoming NESHAP rules, go to the US EPA website at www.epa.gov/ttn/atw. The US EPA is in the process of promulgating new National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for area sources. Many of these new federal rules will affect small businesses that have never before been regulated or could increase the environmental regulations that businesses must be adhered to now. To see how your business will be affected or to find information on how you can submit comments regarding the rule to US EPA, find your NAISC code or industry descriptions and click on the associated summary link or proposed rule link. Compliance tools to help your company meet these new regulations will be added as they are developed. Check back often. If you are a small business with less than 100 employees and need help understanding or complying with these new rules, call SBEAP at 1-877-427-6255.
